So hubs has been gone for a couple of days now and I haven't spoken to him as of yet. I'm hoping we get to talk tonight! From what I hear from another Army wife whose husband is also in Qatar with my husband, they aren't able to call just yet. Her husband has been skyping with her and chatting with her over the internet though. My hubs doesn't have a computer as of yet since our laptop and desktop broke down before he left for deployment so I'm hoping someone he knows who has a computer will let him have access to it! I've only received a couple Facebook messages so I'm hoping I get more tonight! Oh and another bad thing about this whole deployment, it really is affecting my oldest. He just continues to act out and not listen to me hardly at all. He was such a good boy and would always listen. Never fought with me really on anything. If he did something wrong, he would easily just walk over to time out once I told him to. Not anymore. He fights and cries and screams and falls to the ground. That is SO NOT like him. And I'm pretty sure it's because of the big change of daddy leaving and with moving some of our big items (like his bed and toys and books) to Grandma and Grandpa's house. I really hope he acts back to normal soon. I REALLY REALLY HOPE SO.
On a good note though, the days aren't really seeming too long for me even with hubs gone. I've been keeping really really busy with my 2 boys. Thankfully I have them to help with keeping me occupied and keeping me busy where I don't have to think about the fact that my husband won't be here for a long time.

First Post!
Hello there! My name is Melissa, I'm 24 years old and am married to a wonderful man named Stephen. He's 25 and he happens to be in the military, Army to be exact, which would make me an Army wife. We have 2 kids together, ages 3 and 10 months and we're currently going through a really hard time right now because of a deployment. My husband has recently left for his first REAL deployment and so things are not as peachy as they once were. I'm going through a rough time as well as my oldest son. My youngest is a little too young to quite understand or have it affect him thankfully. I'm just looking forward to this deployment's end and hoping it goes by quickly! In the meantime, I decided to make a blog so I could blog about whatever, whenever and just have some place where I can vent or just keep track of everything that goes on while my hubs is gone. I'm doing as many things as I can to keep me busy and this is one of them!
